Frequently Asked Questions

We are an out of network provider which means we do not accept in network insurance. Being out of network allows us to treat each client as a whole and deliver the expert care that achieves results. We are happy to submit a superbill to your insurance so you have the opportunity to receive any possible reimbursement.

In network means that the therapy provider is contracted with health insurance companies. In these contracts, the health insurance company dictates what the therapist is and isn’t allowed to treat as well as how they are allowed to treat. In network clinicians often see multiple people each hour, which hinders the amount of one on one time the client actually spends with their PT. It also does not allow the PT to truly get to know the patient’s history, lifestyle, and goals, all of which play a huge role in the client's long term success.
At Resolve we value a client centered approach. It is important to us that you spend your entire, individualized session with a highly skilled physical therapist who will listen and take the time to get to know you and all of the contributing factors to your pain. This allows the therapist to create a unique plan that fits your needs and lifestyle and achieves lasting results. You will also receive access to digital programming which provides you with example videos of your exercises, accountability, and access to check in/ask questions to your therapist anytime between sessions.

Your initial appointment will be 75-90 minutes long. During this time we will perform a comprehensive assessment, hear about your history, current situation, and aspirations, and create a plan tailored to your needs so you can achieve your goals. Each follow up visit will last approximately 60 minutes.

Please wear loose pants or shorts as well as a t-shirt to each appointment. This allows our therapists to access the areas needing support easily.

No, you do not need a prescription to start PT. New Jersey is a Direct Access state. Direct Access means that you can seek out a physical therapy provider without having to see a physician first.
